Dialogue from Film – “Snow White and the Three Stooges” ~~Poisoned~~

The Three Stooges are returning to their cottage, where Snow White is safely hidden from the Queen. They are knocked to the ground by some unseen force, and look to the sky, seeing a witch on a broomstick laughing maniacally at them.

WITCH:
You fools! You thought you could outwit me didn’t you.

MOE:
We don’t even know you.

LARRY:
And what’s more, we don’t even want to.

WITCH:
Aha haha, ahaahaahaa…

MOE:
You know what?

CURLY JOE:
What?

MOE:
I get a nasty feeling that old witch is mixed up with the Queen in some way.

CURLY JOE:
The Queen!
I wish the Queen ‘d go to Hades and stay there!

Curly Joe pronounces his wish with his hand held fast on the Magic Sword stolen from Count Oga. The witch’s broom catches fire and she descends rapidly into the mountainside, ending in a brilliant explosion.

MOE
Hey, that was the Queen! Quick, we gotta get back to Snow White.

The Three Stooges hurry back to the cottage, and rush inside, immediately seeing Snow White unconscious on the floor.

MOE
No….
Snow White. What happened?

Moe listens to her chest…

She’s …

CURLY JOE
(Spying a bright red apple with a single bite taken from it)
This wasn’t here when we left.

LARRY
The Queen must have given it to her.

CURLY JOE
She’s been poisoned!

MOE
And it’s all our fault. We left her here all alone. Please, Princess forgive us.

LARRY
We thought you’d be safe here.

CURLY JOE
Oh,mighty Sword, don’t let Snow White die. We love her.

LARRY
Please Sword, please save her.

MOE
We’ll only ask this one last wish, we promise.

CURLY JOE
Please help us Sword, we don’t know what to do.
(But the Sword does not respond)

LARRY
We must have used up all the wishes.

He tosses the Magic Sword in the fire….

  1. “Snow White and the Three Stooges” was released in 1961. The Three Stooges were played by Moe Howard, Larry Fine and Joe DeRita (“Curly Joe”).
Carol Heiss, who played the role of Snow White, was the Gold medallist in woman’s figure skating at the 1960 Winter Olympic Games and five-time world champion from 1956 to 1960.

  2. I remembered the go to Hades and stay there (almost, anyway) while watching another movie involving witches. I remembered it being from a Three Stooges movie from my youth, but little else. Thanks to the Internet and your page, I was able to refresh my memory.
